For 150 years, the Quakertown Band has been a proud symbol of musical excellence and community spirit. In 2027, we'll celebrate our legacy with three major concert events, all of which will be heavily advertised, well attended, and broadcast on PBS:
Our 150th Anniversary Concert, April 10, 2027Featuring the world premiere of a new piece of music written specifically for the Quakertown Band, by renowned film composer Rossano Galante. A collaboration with a local dance troupe and world-renowned Quakertown artist Steve Tobin, who will create live visual art on stage influenced by our performance. Beloved featured vocalist, Keith Spencer, and a big birthday party afterwards, with plenty of cake for all attendees!
Cinematic Collaborations, July 10th, 2027: A combined concert in Quakertown with the renowned Philly Pops Orchestra! Not only will this be the first time the Philly Pops have ever made their way up into Bucks County, but it will be the first time they combine with a concert band, resulting in an incredibly rousing finale, with 110 musicians on stage!
Jazz Legends, September 11, 2027:We're putting on a combined concert in Quakertown with the greatest swing band of all time, the Glenn Miller Orchestra. This concert will feature a brand new composition, written specifically for us and the Glenn Miller Orchestra combined. The outdoor concert will also feature a 10 minute spectacular drone show, synchronized to our live music. There will be food trucks and wine tasting... and will be a night that you won't want to miss!
TV Broadcasts:PBS39 will be broadcasting the three major concerts, AND making a video documentary about the Quakertown Band, and what's it like (behind the scenes) to be in a modern day band.
We invite local businesses and community partners to join us as sponsors for this once-in-a-century celebration! We are offering the following advertising opportunities at each of the three concerts:
